Section 08 BRAKES Subsection 01 (HYDRAULIC BRAKES)
Using crowfoot (PN 529 035 884) and open wrench (PN 529 035 866), unscrew axle nutsRelease parking brakeRemove rear caliper as described previouslyRemove hub with brake discPlace hub in viseUse jaw protectorRemove screws no27 retaining brake disc no25
Remove pivot bolt no30Remove washer no31 and outer O-ring no32 then remove pedal no33 from pivotRemove the inner O-ring no32 on the pivot
Inspection
Check brake pedal for cracks or distortionCheck O-rings for damage, change if necessary
Installation
Install brake disc on hub and tighten screws to 25 Nm (18 lbfft) in criss-cross sequence
Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedureApply synthetic grease (PN 293 550 010) on O-rings
REAR BRAKE CABLE

Lubrication
The brake cable must be lubricated with Bombardier cable lubricant (PN 293 600 041) or with silicone-based lubricant
WARNING
Always use silicone-based lubricantUsing another lubricant (like water-based lubricant) could cause the throttle levercable sticking or stiffnessRemove cable from hand leverTo ease this operation, apply force on the brake pedal to loosen the cablePut the cable luber (PN 529 035 738) on the cableInsert the needle of lubricant can on cable luber hole
