Section 05 DRIVE TRAIN Subsection 02 (REAR AXLE)
Check O-ring for damageIf so, change it
Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedurePay attention to the following detailsApply synthetic grease (PN 293 550 019) on splinesInstall wheel hub no10Put on the wheel hub nut no9 and tightenRelease rear brakeInstall new cotter pinBoth ends of cotter pin must be foldedInstall rubber capInstall rear wheelPut vehicle back on the groundWith no driver on vehicle, adjust chain tensionTighten the chain tensioner lock bolts
If bearings no13 are seized on the axle, the axle must be replaced or its surface cleanedBearings must still have slide fit on the axle, otherwise it will result in faulty reassembly and failure may occurBearing races on the axle must be in good conditionIf the sprocket hub no3 has been damaged, replace it alsoIf wear sleeves no14 are damaged replace them
