POSITION Switch released Switch depressed and held
WIRE REDVIOLET and YELLOWRED
RESISTANCE Infinite (0.L) 0.6 max
ELECTRIC STARTER REMOVAL
Turn OFF ignition switchDisconnect cable connections from battery
Replace multifunction switch if defectiveIf switch tests good, check wiring going to electronic moduleIf it tests good, continue the next tests
WARNING
Always disconnect BLACK (-) cable first and reconnect lastRemove LH side coverRefer to BODYFRAMERemove carburetorRefer to CARBURETORDisconnect all cables from starterRemove starter mount screwsPull starter out2 3
