STARTING SYSTEM TROUBLESHOOTING
STARTER DOES NOT TURN1Ignition switch is in the OFF position- Turn switch in the ON position2Burnt fuse- Check main fuse and wiring condition3Transmission is not set on Neutral- Set transmission in Neutral or use the override mode4Poor contact of battery terminal(s) or ground cable connections- Clean and tighten terminal(s)5Weak battery- Recharge battery 6Poor contact or open circuit of: start button and engine stop switch, ignition switch or starting solenoid- Check and replace defective part7NEUTRAL switch is defective- Check NEUTRAL switch and wiring condition8Engine mechanical problem (ensure that other electric components are good)- Engine overhaul is necessaryCheck all parts of engine until the problem is found
