Section 04 ELECTRICAL Subsection 03 (STARTING SYSTEM)
Clean the battery casing, caps, cables and battery posts using solution of baking soda and waterCAUTION: Do not allow cleaning solution to flow into the battery since it will destroy the electrolyteRemove corrosion (if so) from battery cable terminals and battery posts using firm wire brushRinse with clear water and dry well
INSPECTION
Visually inspect battery casing for cracks or other possible damageIf casing is damaged, replace battery and thoroughly clean battery rack with water and baking soda
