Section 03 FUEL SYSTEM Subsection 03 (AIR INTAKE SILENCER)
GENERAL
If vehicle is used in dusty area, inspect more frequently than specified in maintenance chartCAUTION: Do not start engine when liquid or deposits are found in the drain tubeIf you have oil in the air box, check engine oil levelMaybe oil level is too highCAUTION: Never remove or modify any component in the air boxOtherwise, engine performance degradation or damage can occurThe engine carburetion is calibrated to operate specifically with these componentsDisconnect battery before working on fuel system

WARNING
Always disconnect battery exactly in the specified order, BLACK (-) cable firstIt is recommended to disconnect electrical connections prior to disconnecting fuel lines
AIR FILTER AND CLEANING
Removal
Remove air filter box cover
Pour Bombardier air filter cleaner (PN 219 700 341) or an equivalent into bucketPut the filter in to soakWhile filter soaks, clean inside the air filter housing no2Rinse the filter with warm water until all cleaning solution disappearsNOTE: If the air filter foam is still dirty, replace it with new oneThen, let the filter dry completelyWhen the filter is dried, re-oil it with Bombardier air filter oil (PN 219 700 340) or an equivalentCAUTION: Engine performance degradation or severe damages can occur if the air filter is not properly maintained andor if it not well oiled
