GENERAL
Disconnect battery before working on fuel system
FUEL TANK
Draining WARNING
Never perform this operation when the engine andor the exhaust system isare hotTurn fuel valve no2 to the position OFFDisconnect fuel line from carburetor
WARNING
Always disconnect battery exactly in the specified order, BLACK (-) cable firstIt is recommended to disconnect electrical connections prior to disconnecting fuel lines
WARNING
Fuel is flammable and explosive under certain conditionsEnsure work area is well ventilatedDo not smoke or allow open flames or sparks in the vicinityDuring assemblyinstallation, use the torque values and service products as in the exploded viewsClean threads before applying threadlockerRefer to SELF-LOCKING FASTENERS and LOCTITE APPLICATION at the beginning of this manual for complete procedure

Torque wrench tightening specifications must strictly be adhered toLocking devices (e.g locking tabs, elastic stop nuts, self-locking fasteners, cotter pin, etc must be installed or replaced with new ones where specifiedIf the efficiency of locking device is impaired, it must be renewed
