NOTE: If your oil seal installer is older than 2003, using bit of 13 mm (12 in), drill 13 mm (12 in) of depth inside oil seal installer or until tool works properly
Always heat crankcase housing up to 100C (212F) before installing ball bearings andor needle bearings
BEARINGS
Inspection
All bearings must turn smoothly and freelyNo excessive play must be detected during inspectionReplace defective or suspicious bearing(s) with new one
WARNING
Clean oil, outside and inside, from housing before heatPlace new bearing in freezer for 10 minutes before installationInsert the ball bearing in its position by pressing the outer race of bearing with proper toolInstall needle bearing no13, no14 or no15 with the needle bearing installer 18 mm (PN 529 035 762) or the other needle bearing installer 15 mm (PN 529 035 763) and insertion jig handle (PN 420 877 650)420 877 650
