VALVE COVER
Removal
Remove: hose from valve cover valve cover screws no1
Inspection
Check the sealing ring on the valve cover if it is brittle, cracked or hardIf so, replace the sealing ring
Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedureNOTE: Install the valve cover screws in crisscross sequence
VALVE ADJUSTMENT
Lock crankshaft at the TDC compression position (refer to CRANKSHAFT)Remove valve cover (refer to VALVE COVER above)Hold adjusting screw no4 and loosen locking nut no5Using feeler gauge, check the valve clearanceR175motr63A
