WATER PUMP SHAFT
Removal
NOTE: It is greatly recommended to change oil seals when the water pump shaft is removedRemove: water pump housing no24 (refer to WATER PUMP HOUSING above) impeller no27
Inspection
Check if the water pump shaft is bent or scratchedWater pump shaft must rotate freely in water pump housingOtherwise, replace it
Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedure

RADIATOR CAP
Check, with suitable tester, if the radiator cap no1 pressurizes the systemIf not, install new 110 kPa (16 PSI) cap (do not exceed this pressure)
