BRAKE HOSES
Removal
NOTE: Before removing any hoses or tubes, drain brake systemFront Flexible Brake Hose Remove: console front luggage rackRefer to BODY for complete procedureUpper Hose Disconnect brake handle hose no9 from master cylinder and discard sealing washersRemove all locking tie retaining master cylinder hose to handlebarUnscrew brake handle hose no9 from vertical brake tube no34Lower Hoses Disconnect flexible hoses no5 from front calipers and discard sealing washers no8Unscrew flexible hoses no5 from vertical brake tube no34
WARNING
Always wear eye protection and gloves when you lubricate cableNOTE: Place rag around cable luber to prevent lubricant splashSpray small quantity of Bombardier cable lubricant (PN 293 600 041) then press the brake pedal to move the brake cableRepeat this procedure until the silicone lubricant exits the other end of the cableReadjust cable, see below
