GENERAL
Disconnect battery before working on fuel system
When replacing fuel line, be sure to use hoses as available from Bombardier parts departmentThis will ensure continued proper and safe operation
WARNING
Always disconnect battery exactly in the specified order, BLACK (-) cable firstIt is recommended to disconnect electrical connections prior to disconnecting fuel lines
WARNING
Use of improper fuel line could compromise fuel system integrity
FUEL TANK
Draining WARNING
Never perform this operation when the engine andor the exhaust system isare hotTurn fuel valve no2 to the position OFFDisconnect fuel line from carburetor
WARNING
When draining fuel tank or whenever fuel line is disconnected, obstruct line with hose pincher (PN 295 000 076) or equivalent deviceFuel is flammable and explosive under certain conditionsEnsure work area is well ventilatedDo not smoke or allow open flames or sparks in the vicinityDuring assemblyinstallation, use the torque values and service products as in the exploded viewsClean threads before applying threadlockerRefer to SELF-LOCKING FASTENERS and LOCTITE APPLICATION at the beginning of this manual for complete procedure
