Section 03 ENGINE Subsection 05 (COOLING SYSTEM)
GENERAL
The engine removal is not necessary when working on water pump, thermostat or temperature switch
Check all hoses, radiator no22 and cylinderbase for coolant leaksSpray soapwater solution and look for air bubbles
INSPECTION
Check general condition of hoses and clamp tightnessCheck the leak indicator hole if there is oil andor coolant and replace oil seals in water pump housing if necessary (refer to WATER PUMP HOUSING further)NOTE: Flowing coolant andor oil out of the leak indicator hole indicates non working oil seal(s) no1

In order to avoid potential burns, do not remove or loosen the radiator cap or the engine drain plug when the engine is hotDuring assemblyinstallation, use the torque values and service products as in the exploded viewsClean threads before applying threadlockerRefer to SELF-LOCKING FASTENERS and LOCTITE APPLICATION at the beginning of this manual for complete procedure
