Brake Handle Unscrew the bolt retaining the parking lever lock from brake lever no4 and remove the parking lever lock no35If necessary, press brake pedal to release the tension on brake leverRotate cable end bushing so that cable aligns with the brake lever recess, then lift cable end

NOTE: Before removing any hoses, drain brake systemFront Flexible Brake Hose Quest Series Remove: console front luggage rack and front fender assemblyTraxter Series Remove front rack and front fender assemblyRemove fuel tank coverRefer to BODY for complete procedureAll Models Disconnect master cylinder hose no10 from master cylinder no3 and discard sealing washers no8Cut all locking ties and remove clips no11 retaining hoseRemove T-fitting from framePull out grommets no13 from their hooksDisconnect hose no10 from caliper and discard sealing washers no82 1
