Section 10 BRAKES Subsection 02 (HYDRAULIC BRAKES)
All Models

Inspection
Check brake pedal for cracks or distortionCheck O-rings for damage, change if necessary
Remove cable from hand leverTo ease this operation, apply force on the brake pedal to loosen the cablePut the cable luber (PN 529 035 738) on the cableInsert the needle of lubricant can on cable luber hole
Installation and Adjustment
For installation, reverse the removal procedurePay attention to the following detailsApply synthetic grease (PN 293 550 010) on O-ringsAdjust the master cylinder push rod at the following dimension
WARNING
Always wear eye protection and gloves when you lubricate cableNOTE: Place rag around cable luber to prevent lubricant splashSpray small quantity of Bombardier cable lubricant (PN 293 600 041) then press the brake pedal to move the brake cableRepeat this procedure until the silicone lubricant flows out the other end of the cableReadjust cable, see below
