Section 10 BRAKES Subsection 02 (HYDRAULIC BRAKES)
Install brake caliper so the disc is positioned between padsNOTE: Be careful not to damage pads and that pads are correctly inserted in their locationAfter the job is completed, firmly depress the brake lever few times to bring the pads in contact with the discCheck for leaks and make sure the brakes operate normally before drivingThe pads must rest flat on the disk

Inspection
Brake discs no23 can be inspected without removing from the vehicleRaise vehicle and support it securelyRemove wheels and visually inspect disc surfaces for scratches or groovesMake sure to check both sides of discMeasure thickness of the discReplace disc if not within specificationsCAUTION: Brake discs should never be machinedTurn the disc by hand and check warpageDISC MINIMUM THICKNESS DISC WARPAGE (max 4.5 mm (.187 in) 0.2 mm (.01 in)
