Electric Starter
Quest Series NOTE: Starter is located at the rear of engineRemove RH engine side panel to give access to the starterRefer to BODYTraxter Series NOTE: Starter is located behind LH side panelRemove LH engine side panel to give access to the starterRefer to BODYAll Models Using boosting cables, carefully supply current from the battery directly to the starterConnect the BLACK (-) cable firstThen connect the remaining jump cable from the battery then to the starterIf starter now turns ensure the cablesconnections from battery to solenoid and to starter are in good conditionIf they test good, the MPEM can be suspectedSee MPEM belowIf starter does not turn, check for mechanical problems in the starter
