Section 05 FUEL SYSTEM (CARBURETOR AND FUEL PUMP)
Reinstall carburetor cover and cable in throttle housingAdjust cable, see below
Carburetor Side Quest Series Remove the LH side panelUnscrew choke plastic nut from carburetorPull choke cable to remove choke plunger from carburetorRemove the choke plunger and its spring
Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedure
Adjustment WARNING
Ensure the key is turned OFF, prior to perform the throttle cable adjustmentBefore adjusting the throttle cable, adjust idle speed (preliminary adjustment) and chokeSlide rubber protector back to expose throttle cable adjusterLoosen lock nut then turn the adjuster to obtain correct throttle lever free playNOTE: Measure throttle free play at the tip of throttle leverTighten lock nut and reinstall protector
