Section 05 FUEL SYSTEM Subsection 02 (FUEL CIRCUIT)
Traxter Series Models Drain fuel tank no1 by unplugging reserve fuel hose no4 on fuel valve (top hose)NOTE: To accelerate fuel tank draining and ensure complete draining, remove cap no5Remove following items from bodyRefer to BODY for complete detailed procedure: steering cover shifter guide indicator front inner fenders seat fuel tank cover front bumper front fender with rackUnplug fuel hoses from tank and disconnect fuel vent line no13Remove both fuel tank top screws, as shown in the next photo
Installation
Reverse removal procedure, however pay attention to the following: Ensure that main fuel tank hose no12 and reserve fuel tank hose no4 are not inverseRefer to FUEL VALVE tablePosition all fuel tank screws, nuts, washers and spacers as shown in the next photo6 3
