GENERAL
To remove camshaft, the engine removal is not necessaryBut, for removal of balancer shaft or crankshaft, engine removal is necessaryDuring assemblyinstallation, use the torque values and service products as in the exploded viewsClean threads before applying threadlockerRefer to SELF-LOCKING FASTENERS and LOCTITE APPLICATION at the beginning of this manual for complete procedure
WARNING
Torque wrench tightening specifications must strictly be adhered toLocking devices (ex locking tabs, elastic stop nuts, self-locking fasteners, cotter pin, etc must be installed or replaced with new ones where specifiedIf the efficiency of locking device is impaired, it must be renewedWhen the repair is doneTest drive to confirm all is working well
