Section 04 ENGINE TRAXTER Subsection 08 (LUBRICATION SYSTEM)
CAUTION: Only use Bombardier high pressure filter or suitable equivalentThe Bombardier filter is specifically designed for this engineThis filter does not operate at the same pressure as other brandsUsing non-recommended filter may cause serious enginetransmission damageLubricate the rubber gasket on the filter with engine oilInstall the new filter then screw one full turn after rubber gasket makes contactWipe out any oil spillage on engineChange gasket on drain plugClean gasket area on engine and drain plug then reinstall plugRefill engine at the proper level with the recommended oilRefer to TECHNICAL DATA for capacityStart engine and let idle for few minutesEnsure oil filter area and drain plug areas are not leakingStop engineWait while to allow oil to flow down to crankcase then check oil levelRefill as necessaryDispose of oil as per your local environmental regulations
