GENERAL
To reach any parts of the magneto system, the engine removal is not necessaryDuring assemblyinstallation, use the torque values and service products as in the exploded viewsClean threads before applying threadlockerRefer to SELF-LOCKING FASTENERS and LOCTITE APPLICATION at the beginning of this manual for complete procedure
Remove: rear swing arm and rear propeller shaft (refer to REAR AXLE) water pump housing (refer to COOLING SYSTEM) GBPS (Gear Box Position Sensor)

Torque wrench tightening specifications must strictly be adhered toLocking devices (ex locking tabs, elastic stop nuts, self-locking fasteners, etc must be installed or replaced with new ones where specifiedIf the efficiency of locking device is impaired, it must be renewedV01C2IA
MAGNETO HOUSING COVER
Removal
Place the vehicle on jack stands and place the shifter on NEUTRAL positionRemove seat then remove batteryDisconnect BLACK (-) cable from battery, then RED (+) cable
