Section 04 ENGINE TRAXTER Subsection 04 (REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION)
Install lower coolant inlet hoseConnect VSS, clutchpressure solenoid and oil pressure connectorsInstall front propeller shaft bolt and torque to 34 Nm (25 lbfft)Apply Loctite 271 on threadsInstall seat pivot barNOTE: At the time of seat pivot bar installation, it is possible that the frame is too wide or too restrictedAccording to your needs, close or widen the frame slightlyInstall carburetor then connect fuel line to carburetorInstall choke cable and reconnect TPS connectorConnect breather hose to carburetorInstall fuse boxInstall starter and connect wires
Install LH pivot bolt and torque it to 11 Nm (97 lbfin)Move the swing arm up and down several times and retighten LH pivot boltRetorque LH pivot bolt to 11 Nm (97 lbfin)Torque RH pivot bolt to 147 Nm (108 lbfft)Install jam nut and torque to 147 Nm (108 lbfft) while holding pivot bolt
WARNING
The LH pivot bolt must have more than threads out of jam nutReinstall master cylinderCheck brake pedal adjustmentRefer to HYDRAULIC BRAKES for complete adjustment procedureFasten rear brake caliperRoute brake hose and secure to the bracketsReinstall shock absorber boltsReattach cables, hoses, harness wiring, etc
