Cleaning of Drive Pulley WARNING
Clean pulley faces and shaft with fine steel wool and dry clothUsing paper towel with cleaning solvent, clean crankshaft tapered end and the taper inside the fixed half of the drive pulley, crankshaft threads and threads of drive pulley screw no6
Always wear safety glasses to remove spring sleevesPull one-way clutch no16 slowly until the half of spring sleeves no17 are visible

CAUTION: Avoid contact between cleaner and crankshaft seal because damage may occurRemove all hardened oil deposits that have baked on crankshaft and pulley tapered surfaces with coarse or medium steel wool andor sand paper no600CAUTION: Do not use any other type of abrasiveReclean mounting surfaces with paper towel and cleaning solventWipe off the mounting surfaces with clean, dry paper towelCAUTION: Mounting surfaces must be free of any oil, cleaner or towel residue
