Disengage shift fork no16 from shift drum no12 gear selection no26, thrust washer no27, reverse gear no29, needle bearing no28 and shim no30 distance sleeve no17, thrust washer no18, intermediate gear no19, needle bearing no20, thrust washer no21 and intermediate gear shaft no22NOTE: It is not necessary to remove index lever no11Check index lever for visible damage and if it moves freelyReplace if necessary
Inspection
Check both shift forks for visible damage, wear or bent shift fork clawsMeasure the shift fork claw thicknessR610motr175A
