The engine removal is not necessary to work on magneto componentsAlways perform the electric tests before removing or installing whatever componentFor installation, use the torque values and Loctite products from the exploded viewsClean threads before using Loctite when installing the screwsClean threads before applying threadlockerRefer to SELF-LOCKING FASTENERS and LOCTITE APPLICATION at the beginning of this manual for complete procedure
WARNING
Torque wrench tightening specifications must strictly be adhered toLocking devices (ex locking tabs, elastic stop nuts, self-locking fasteners, cotter pin, etc must be installed or replaced with new ones where specifiedIf the efficiency of locking device is impaired, it must be renewed
