Section 02 MAINTENANCE Subsection 04 (STORAGEPRESEASON PREPARATION)
RAGS INTO INLET AND OUTLET HOSES OF CVT
Quest Series If the vehicle is not used during long time, block inlet and outlet hoses of CVT with clean ragsThe rags will prevent the intrusion of small animals, leafs or other debrisThe inlet hose is located under console in front of fuel tank
NOTE: Remove those rags at preseason preparation
VEHICLE CLEANING AND PROTECTION
All Models Wash and dry the vehicleRemove any dirt or rustTo clean the plastic parts, use flannel clothesCAUTION: It is necessary to use flannel cloths on plastic parts to avoid damaging further surfaces to cleanTo clean the entire vehicle, including metallic parts with coat of grease, use Bombardier VinylPlastic Cleaner (PN 413 11 200) or an equivalent like Simple Green from Sunshine Makers Inc available at hardware stores or at automotive parts retailerCAUTION: Never clean plastic parts with strong detergent, degreasing agent, paint thinner, acetone, products containing chlorine, etcDo not use Bombardier Cleaner on decals, plastic parts or vinylInspect the vehicle and repair any damageTouch up all metal spots where paint has been scratched offSpray all metal parts with BOMBARDIER LUBE (PN 293 600 016)NOTE: Protect the vehicle with cover to prevent dust accumulation during storageCAUTION: The vehicle has to be stored in cool and dry place and covered with an opaque tarpaulinThis will prevent sun rays and grime from affecting plastic components and vehicle finish
