Inspection
Check switch no40 for dirt or corrosionMake sure it is operating properlyDepress brake pedal and check for brake light to turn onRepeat with the brake leverBefore replacing the brake light switch, check the brake light bulb and the wiring harness
Removal
The rear brake switch is located on the rear master cylinder
