Section 08 SUSPENSION Subsection 03 (REAR SUSPENSION)
GENERAL
The procedure described below is the same for the RH and LH sides, unless otherwise instructedDuring assemblyinstallation, use the torque values and service products as in the exploded viewsClean threads before applying threadlockerRefer to SELF-LOCKING FASTENERS and LOCTITE APPLICATION at the beginning of this manual for complete procedure
Disassembly
Use shock spring remover (PN 529 035 504) and put it in viseMount shock in it and turn shock so that spring coils no19 match spring compressorClose and lock barAdjust handle horizontal by changing position of clevis pinPush down on handle until it locksRemove spring stopper and cap then release handle
WARNING
Torque wrench tightening specifications must strictly be adhered toLocking devices (ex locking tabs, elastic stop nuts, self-locking fasteners, etc must be installed or replaced with new ones where specifiedIf the efficiency of locking device is impaired, it must be renewed1 2
