lower differential bolts no12 hitchReinstall the lower differential boltsDo not torqueRemove: upper differential bolts no13 rear propeller shaft bolt no14 and washer no15 NOTE: During this procedure, remove the lower differential bolts to move the differential backwards to allow complete removal of propeller shaft bolt RH footwell front propeller shaft screw no16 and washer no17Unplug the propeller shaft no18 from the differential then remove it from vehicle
Removal
Remove internal snap ring from bearing caps

Inspection
Check yoke U-joint no19 for wear, backlash or axial play, replace if necessaryInspect engine seal for damage or leakReplace if necessaryInspect disc brake (refer to HYDRAULIC BRAKES)
1Snap ring
Support inner yoke in vice and drive other yoke down with soft hammer
