Section 06 DRIVE TRAIN Subsection 03 (REAR AXLE)
DRIVE SHAFT PROTECTORS
Removal
Wheel Side Using 316 in drill, remove the pop rivets retaining the protector to the trailing armCentral Remove bolts no7 retaining the protector no8 to the hitch
Installation
Insert the end of drive shaft in differential and pull joint little to make sure that the stop ring no11 is locked in differential gear groove
Installation
The installation is the reverse of removal procedure

Remove the appropriate wheel hub and the footwell on this sideNear trailing arm and frame junction, remove: protective cap elastic nut washer torsion bar lever lower shock absorber boltRemove trailing armPull drive shaft no9 out of differential no10NOTE: Pull drive shaft stronglyV01H0FA
