Installation
Outlander and Outlander XT Models The installation is the reverse of removal procedureOutlander MAX and Outlander MAX XT Models Remove all Loctite deposits on splines (shaft and hub) with copper brushAfter Loctite removal, clean splines with Bombardier pulley flange cleaner (PN 413 711 809)Apply Loctite primer (PN 293 800 041) on shaft splines and allow to dry for 30 secondsApply thick coat of Loctite 271 (PN 293 800 005) on splinesInstall the wheel hub, the washer and new castellated nutTighten castellated nut to the specific torque, 250 Nm (184 lbfft), and further tighten until its grooves align with cotter pin holeCAUTION: Always use the recommended washer and castellated nutUsing other nuts can cause hub damageNOTE: The castellated nut must be changed to avoid using warped oneInstall new cotter pin then the wheel cap
