CLEANING
Clean the battery casing, cables and battery posts using solution of baking soda and waterRemove corrosion (if so) from battery cable terminals and battery posts using firm wire brushRinse with clear water and dry well
INSTALLATION
Reinstall battery in vehicleInstall the holding strap
WARNING
Always connect RED (+) cable first then BLACK (-) cable
INSPECTION
Visually inspect battery casing for cracks or other damageIf casing is damaged, replace battery and thoroughly clean battery rack with water and baking sodaInspect battery rack mountingInspect battery posts condition
CABLE TERMINAL INSTALLATION
Carefully strip the wire approximately to 12 mm (12 in) in length, using wire stripping tool or sharp bladeknife
