Rotate rope sheave clockwise until rope end is accessible through starter housing orificePull rope out of the starter housing and temporarily hold itNOTE: It is recommended to use hose clamp to fix rope in placeA knot can get too thight
Pass rope through starter grip, tie knot in the rope end

Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedurePay attention to the following detailsPrior to reinstalling rewind starter on engine, clean threads from Loctite depositsNOTE: Before torquing mounting bolts no15, apply Loctite 243 on threads
