Link Rod Inspection
Check the link rod for bending or cracksCheck the tie-rod at the end of link rodReplace the link rod if necessary
Shifting Plate Removal
Remove the RH side panel (refer to BODY)Detach the link rod no2 from shifting plate no3Remove the shifting plate bolt no31
Link Rod Installation
For installation, reverse the removal procedureHowever, pay attention to the following detailsNOTE: The engine must be engaged on NEUTRAL before working on shifting systemPlace the transmission lever on NEUTRAL positionInstall link rodAdjust the link rod so that the transmission lever is located in the middle of NEUTRAL slot
