Section 09 BRAKES Subsection 02 (HYDRAULIC BRAKES)
Front Brakes Place the master cylinder no8 on the handlebarPosition cylinder holding bracket with the UP mark upwardInstall bolts and tighten looselyWith the handlebar in straight ahead position, position cylinder reservoir parallel to the groundTighten upper bolt in first then lower bolt

Connect brake hose no11 to master cylinder with Banjo bolt no9 and new sealing washersBleed front brake systemCheck for leaks and make sure the brakes operate normally before drivingRear Brake Install master cylinder to frameInstall rear brake hose no18 to master cylinder using new sealing washersConnect flexible hose from master cylinderFill up reservoir with clean brake fluidCAUTION: Do not mix different types of brake fluidUse only DOT brake fluid from sealed containerDo not use brake fluid taken from old or already opened containersBleed rear brake systemCheck for leaks and make sure the brakes operate normally before driving
