Disassembly WARNING
The shock absorber contains high pressure nitrogen gasDo not attempt to disassemble before removing the pressureDispose of gas as per your local environmental regulationsOn Baja models and Baja X, remove the shock absorber protector no.13Unscrew the adjusting nuts nos7 and 8Remove spring stopper no9 and spring seat no10Remove spring no11
Pay attention to the following conditions that will denote defective shock absorber: skip or hang back when reversing stroke at mid travel seizing or binding condition except at extreme end of either stroke oil leakage gurgling noise, after completing one full compression strokeRebuilt if any fault is present
Assembly and Installation
For assembly and installation, reverse the disassembly and removal proceduresOn Baja and Baja models, reinstall the shock absorber protector, make sure not to block venting holes
