Installation
CAUTION: Install the timing gears so that the markings on the gears must be aligned and so that the dowel pin on each camshaft must be located on the top, as shown in the next illustrationV02C0JA
A11.5 mm (.45 in)
NOTE: Never stretch spring since this alters the defined spring forceWhen activated, the amount of lifting arm protruding over the cam pitch circle must not be less than dimension "B"B

1Align marks
Tighten screws no12 for chain guide with Loctite 243, hand tightFit upper section of camshaft carrier and tighten downCheck valve clearanceRefer to MAINTENANCE LUBRICATIONInstall chain tensioner no4 and tighten screw no13 with sealing ring no14Install cylinder head cover with gasketUnscrew and remove crankshaft locking boltInstall the screw plug with sealing ringTorque to 24 Nm (18 lbfft)
