GENERAL
NOTE: For better understanding, the following illustrations are taken with engine out of vehicleTo perform the following instructions, it is not necessary to remove engineThis CVT is lubrication freeNever lubricate any componentsFor installation, use torque values and Loctite products from the exploded viewClean threads before using Loctite products when installing screws
DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT
Removal
Remove CVT cover (refer to CVT Cover further)There are two possibilities to remove the drive beltYou can remove the drive pulley or the driven pulley (see the corresponding sections further for removal and installation procedure)
Inspection
Inspect belt for cracks, fraying or abnormal wearReplace if necessaryWARNING
Never touch CVT while engine is runningNever drive vehicle when CVT cover is removed
WARNING
Any drive pulley repairs must be performed by an authorized Bombardier ATV dealerSubcomponent installation and assembly tolerances require strict adherence to procedures detailed
