SHIFTING INDICATOR SWITCH
NOTE: The engine removal is not necessary to reach the shifting indicator switches
Check if shifting indicator switches work properlyCAUTION: Switch pin has to move freely and must not detach from its housingCheck wiring harness and replace if brittle or hardUsing multimeter, measure the resistance of the shifting indicator switchesUse the following procedure: Reinstall screw on each switch Place one probe of multimeter on switch screw and the other on the engineNOTE: The alligator clip is recommendedApply the end of switch on the engineIf the resistance is infinite (O.L, replace the shifting indicator switchIf the shifting indicator switch and its harness are good, check the vehicle harness andor indicator lights
