Bearing Removal Procedure
Always heat crankcase housing up to 100C (212F) before removing ball bearings, needle bearings or plain bearings
WARNING
Clean oil, outside and inside, from housing before heatCAUTION: Always support crankcase housings properly when ball bearings, needle bearings or plain bearings are removedCrankcase housing damages may occur if this procedure is not performed correctlyNOTE: Always use press for removal or installation of plain bearing halvesPlain Bearing Procedure Remove plain bearings no10, no11, no12 and no13 with the plain bearing removerinstaller (PN 529 035 855)
To install the plain bearing turn the plain bearing removerinstaller up side downNOTE: Apply Molykote grease in crankcase bore to ease installing the plain bearing halvesMark plain bearing oil bore position together with crankcase thrust surface
