Installation
The installation is essentially the reverse of the removal procedure but, pay attention to the following detailsEnsure to perform proper valve timingLock crankshaft (see TDC procedure below) and place camshaft at ignition TDC (refer to CYLINDER AND HEAD)CAUTION: Crankshaft and camshaft must be locked on ignition TDC position to place camshaft timing gear and timing chain in the proper positionNOTE: Place chain according to marks on timing chain and crankcase MAG for proper chain position after reassemblingInstall chain then, adjust chain tension (refer to CYLINDER AND HEAD)CAUTION: Improper valve timing will damage engine components
