Section 03 ENGINE (CYLINDER AND HEAD)
Install cylinder head and the other parts in accordance with the proper installation procedures
Detach piston no42 from connecting rod
Removal
Remove: cylinder head (see CYLINDER HEAD above) cylinder (see CYLINDER above)Place rag under piston
Inspection
Piston Inspect piston for scoring, cracking or other damagesReplace piston and piston rings if necessaryUsing micrometer, measure piston at mm (.354 in) perpendicularly (90) to piston pin

Piston ring circlips are spring loadedRemove one piston circlip no40 and discard itR610motr136A
