Section 03 ENGINE (LUBRICATION SYSTEM)

GENERAL
The engine removal is not necessary when working on the oil pressure switch, oil filter, pressure regulator valve, magnetic plug andor oil strainerPrior to change the engine oil, ensure vehicle is on level surfaceOil and oil filter must be replaced at the same time and oil strainer must be cleaned tooOil change, oil filter replacement and oil strainer cleaning should be done with warm engine
The engine oil pressure should be as following value at warm engine condition (80C (176F) approximately)PRESSIONRPM MINIMAL 1500 RPM 15 kPa (2 PSI) 8500 RPM 350 kPa (51 PSI)

WARNING
The engine oil can be very hotWait until engine oil is warmAt installation, use torque values and Loctite products from the exploded viewClean threads before using Loctite products when installing screwsDispose oil and filter as per your local environmental regulations
If the engine oil pressure is out of specifications, check the points described in TROUBLESHOOTING sectionTo install oil pressure switch, reverse the removal procedure
