GENERAL
Always disconnect battery
Remove magneto cover screws no1WARNING
Always disconnect battery or starter cables exactly in the specified order, BLACK (-) cable firstAlways perform the electric tests before removing or installing whatever componentFor installation, use the torque values and Loctite products from the exploded viewsClean threads before using Loctite when installing the screws

Removal
Drain engine oil (refer to LUBRICATION SYSTEM, see OIL CHANGE)NOTE: No need to drain cooling systemRemove the RH footwell and the seat (refer to BODY)Lift up the fuel tank (refer to FUEL CIRCUIT)Unplug magneto connector from wire harness4
