Section 03 ENGINE Subsection 05 (COOLING SYSTEM)
GENERAL
The engine removal is not necessary when working on water pump, thermostat or temperature switch
INSPECTION
Check general condition of hoses and clamp tightnessCheck the weep hole if there is oil andor water and replace oil seals in water pump housing if necessary (refer to WATER PUMP HOUSING further)NOTE: Flowing water andor oil out of the weep hole indicates non working oil seal(s) no1

To prevent burning yourself, do not remove the radiator cap or loosen the engine drain plug if the engine is hotFor installation, use the torque values and Loctite products from the exploded viewsClean threads before using Loctite when installing the screws
WARNING
Torque wrench tightening specifications must strictly be adhered toLocking devices (ex locking tabs, elastic stop nuts, self-locking fasteners, cotter pin, etc must be installed or replaced with new ones where specifiedIf the efficiency of locking device is impaired, it must be renewed
