Section 03 ENGINE Subsection 04 (REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION)
On right side of vehicle, do the following: Connect: neutral and reverse switches (the neutral switch wire is YELLOWGREY) gearbox vent tube breather hose on valve cover coolant engine outlet hose oil pressure sensor water temperature sensorInstall drive chain on rear axle sprocketFinal Assembly Procedure Confirm coolant and oil drain plugs are reinstalled and tightFill cooling systemRefer to COOLING SYSTEMFill engine with appropriate amount of oil and recommended viscosityReconnect battery
Unlook the tab washer no18Unscrew the sprocket nut then remove the tab washerSlack the drive chainRemove the chain roller then remove the drive chain from engine sprocketRemove sprocket
Inspection
Check sprocket teeth for wear or other damagesChange sprocket if necessaryCAUTION: Replace drive chain, engine sprocket and rear sprocket together to prevent rapid chain and sprockets wearInstall new tab washer retaining ring each time the engine sprocket is removed
