Section 09 BRAKES Subsection 02 (HYDRAULIC BRAKES)
Install new pad pins by pushing in the pads against pad spring to align pad slots in the pads and caliper bodyInstall brake caliper so the disc is positioned between padsNOTE: Be careful not to damage pads and make sure pads are correctly inserted in their locationAfter the job is completed, firmly depress the brake lever few times to bring the pads in contact with the discCheck for leaks and make sure the brakes operate normally before drivingThe pads must rest flat on the disk
CAUTION: Do not let the caliper hang by the hose and do not stretch or twist the hose drive shaftPlace the drive shaft in viseHeat up brake disc around screws and flange on drive shaft to facilitate removalRemove brake disc screws no37 retaining brake disc no36 to the drive shaftRear Brake Disc Remove: LH wheel caliper (suspend it out of the way) CAUTION: Do not let the caliper hang by the hose and do not stretch or twist the hose rear propeller shaft (refer to REAR DRIVE)Place the propeller shaft in viseHeat up brake disc around screws to facilitate removalRemove brake disc screws no37 retaining brake disc no36 to the propeller shaft
