M ove the differential forw ard to disconnect the propeller shaftRe move the differential from the RH sideUnscre bolt no13 retaining the propeller shaft adaptor no14
Install the backlash easure ent tool (PN 529 035 665) at the end of the pinion gear
Inspection
Turn front differential gear ith finger; it should turn smoothlyReplace if necessaryCheck backlash, se KLASH PR RE further in this sectionCheck if oil seals are brittle, hard or damagedReplace if necessary
