Inspection of Drive Pulley
Drive Pulley Drive pulley should be inspected annuallyGovernor Cup Check governor cup for cracks or other visible damagesReplace if necessaryRoller Check each roller no19 for roundness of external diameterNOTE: Replace governor cup if the roller does not move freelyMeasure the roller diameterIf roller is out of specification, replace governor cupROLLER DIAMETER NEW MINIMUM NEW MAXIMUM SERVICE LIMIT 13.70 mm (.539 in) 13.90 mm (.547 in) 13.20 mm (.519 in)

This procedure must be performed in wellventilated areaCAUTION: To avoid damage, make sure cleaner does not contact the crankshaft sealRemove all hardened oil deposits that have baked on crankshaft and pulley tapered surfaces with coarse or medium steel wool andor sand paper no600CAUTION: Do not use any other type of abrasiveReclean mounting surfaces with paper towel and cleaning solventWipe off the mounting surfaces with clean, dry paper towelCAUTION: Mounting surfaces must be free of any oil, cleaner or towel residue
